Infant Program
6 Weeks - 12 Months
Providing care for our infants are one of the most significant relationships nurtured at A Bright Start Child Care Learning Center. After parents, the next most substantial impact on your baby’s development will come from our child care providers. We have found that patience is essential to working well with babies. Because our teachers love this age group and are well experienced and educated, they delight in observing each child as an individual and give the appropriate response to their individual needs. Our infant room staff will be a major role model for every infant and will contribute to their developing view of the world. We are proud to be able to provide a service that will impact our babies use of language, social bonds with other children, and other areas of their growth. Our child care activities are geared to each infant’s development level and will include activities such as music, finger plays, picture books, and more.
Waddlers Program
12 Months - 24 Months
At A Bright Start Child Care Learning Center, we strongly believe that you must be passionate to do a good job. We want our students to be passionate about learning, therefore, we only hire teachers that understand working with children is a passion and not just a job. This is especially important for our Waddler Classroom teachers. One-year olds are very busy little people and they find sense of joy and wonder in just about everything they experience. Our learning center is one that offers a wonderful developmental program for your child. At this age, children love to explore and need a lot of different activities to keep them stimulated and happy. Once a child becomes one year old, they have so many new things to learn. How to get along with others, how to become a little independent, and learning new skills in all the four domains of development—Cognitive, Social and emotional, Language, Physical. The program that our learning center provides makes it easier for you as the parent to see and feel the quality of care we provide for your child.
Toddlers Program
2 Years - 3 Years
Between the ages of two and three children become very curious and delightful. They begin to show more signs of eagerness for independence. At A Bright Start Child Care Learning Center, we work hard to guide our toddlers through a wide variety of activities and experiences by allowing each child to explore themselves and treating each child as an individual. With the leadership of our well-educated teachers, our toddler program has implemented a curriculum that stimulates and helps each child learn at their own pace. At this age you may find that some children show more defiant behavior than others and may even refuse to cooperate at sometimes. However, with a lot of patience and understanding, our toddler teachers can teach children to learn what is acceptable and what is unacceptable.
Preschool Program
4 Years - 5 Years
A Bright Start Child Care Learning Center provides a warm, nurturing, and happy environment for your preschooler to learn and practice important early academic . Our program focus on listening and cooperative skills, motor movement/development and also help children develop perceptual abilities . In addition, each child gets individual time with the teacher throughout the week to work on fine motor development, such as proper pencil grip and scissor use, as well as letter recognition and sounds Our goal is to channel preschooler into the world of learning.
School Age Program
5 Years - 12 Years
As children move from the preschool years into elementary school, their physical, thinking, language, social and emotional skills become more sophisticated. With the guidance and materials our learning center provide, we are sure that our school age children will improve dramatically in their vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. Our early educators will be sure that our school agers motor skills become more refined as well. At A Bright Start Child Care Learning Center, we incorporate STEAM( Science, Technology, Engineer, Art, Math) Learning into our school age curriculum. Because we believe in teaching our children to be innovators, we are sure to give them a chance to explore and expand their insight on the world around them. Our STEAM program is a combination of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. This curriculum was specifically designed to reach each child as an individual while enriching their cognitive skills dramatically. Our child care facility also provides time for your child to get homework done so parents can spend more quality time with them once he/she gets home. We have cared for many of our school-agers since they were infants. We work very hard to constantly revise and develop a child care program which meets the needs of our children. We take great pride in our fun-filled program and strive to make it an exciting place your child will want to be.
